Quantitative Developer

About the role

Verition Group LLC is seeking a Quantitative Developer to join its world‑class quant trading team in Dubai. You will work across the full trading lifecycle, from data ingestion to live execution and post‑trade analysis, using Python and advanced quantitative techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Python tools for analysis, research, trading, and risk management.
• Maintain data‑management pipelines, ensure data integrity, and resolve data issues.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing systems.
• Collaborate regularly with team managers, internal tech and data teams, researchers, traders, and external vendors.
• Implement machine‑learning and other advanced methods to improve predictive accuracy.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional Python programming experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
