About the role
The Quantity Cost Analyst will support AFS outage operations by tracking and analysing the costs of maintenance outages. The role involves building and maintaining cost‑tracking models, reporting live cost data, and helping budget owners mitigate overruns.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain cost‑tracking models using historical data, purchase orders and contractual information.
- Implement and sustain SAP Project System for cost monitoring.
- Liaise with Operations and Back‑Office teams to compare actual costs against budgets for each outage.
- Review timesheets and assist with purchase‑order extraction and validation for variance analysis.
- Forecast potential overruns and support mitigation actions.
- Prepare cost‑tracking reports for finance P&L integration and senior‑management reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Archive records and consolidate reports for future analysis and lessons learned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or at least five years of experience in a costing‑related role.
- Experience in oil & gas maintenance outages is advantageous.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP.
