Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure Projects (Roads, Bridges, Utilities)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who specialises in infrastructure works such as roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, pipelines and rail. The role involves managing the commercial aspects of large‑scale civil projects from cost estimation through to final accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and contract documents.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow and cost performance throughout the lifecycle.
• Produce interim valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, manage subcontract agreements and assess variations.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed work quantities.
• Coordinate commercial matters with project managers, engineers, consultants and clients.
• Support procurement activities and perform material cost analysis.
• Prepare commercial reports and cost forecasts for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure projects only.
• Proven experience with roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, pipelines or large‑scale civil works.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and infrastructure billing procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
