Quantity Surveyor - Pre Contract Infrastructure

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its pre‑contract team on high‑profile infrastructure projects across the UAE. You will work on commercial contract administration, supporting the delivery of complex construction programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post‑contract commercial administration, including re‑measurement and interim/final account assessments.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, variations, and contractor claim evaluations.
• Handle provisional sums, prime costs, nominated sub‑contractors, and insurance/bond administration.
• Attend design and commercial meetings to provide cost advice and support.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years post‑degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts (preferred) and at least 4 years in a consultant or client role.
• Background in high‑rise office or residential sectors.
• Strong technical writing ability in English and proven project experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cost X or similar quantity‑surveying software.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contract procedures.
