Quantity Surveyor – Site Supervision

About the role

Join AECOM in Abu Dhabi as a Quantity Surveyor with site supervision expertise. You will manage cost, contracts, and on‑site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all site activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts with precision.
• Administer contracts, including review, negotiation, and enforcement of terms.
• Process variation orders, change requests, and claims with thorough documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost optimisation.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive progress reports for stakeholders.
• Analyse project performance data and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, UAE regulations, and organisational policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7–8 years of professional experience in quantity surveying, with strong cost estimation and budget management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in cost estimation software and project management tools such as Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, construction law, and standard forms of contracts.
• Proven ability to analyse financial data, prepare forecasts, and manage project budgets effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
• Experience on large‑scale or complex construction projects is highly preferred.
