Radar Hardware Engineer

About the role

PULSE NOVA, a joint venture between EDGE and INDRA, is looking for a Radar Hardware Engineer to develop advanced radar subsystems and mission‑critical electronic solutions. The role involves translating system requirements into robust hardware designs and supporting the full product lifecycle from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, digital, mixed‑signal and high‑speed interface circuitry for radar subsystems.
• Create schematics, select components, define interfaces and produce detailed design documentation.
• Support PCB layout, ensuring signal and power integrity, thermal performance, EMC/EMI compliance and manufacturability.
• Perform hardware bring‑up, functional verification, debugging and root‑cause analysis using oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Collaborate with RF, antenna, FPGA, embedded software, mechanical and systems teams to ensure proper integration.
• Define and execute verification, validation, qualification and environmental testing in line with program and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, configuration control, non‑conformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Support industrialisation, component obsolescence management, failure analysis and continuous reliability improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hardware design experience in high‑reliability environments such as aerospace, defence or industrial electronics.
• Proven track record in analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture and board‑level development.
