R&D Manager – Dairy & Dairy Alternatives

About the role

Cargill is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead technical support and new product development for dairy and dairy‑alternative solutions. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with customers, internal R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to translate market needs into innovative, safe, and high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support to customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead the creation and execution of healthy new product development pipelines.
• Collaborate with product line leadership, food safety, quality, regulatory, marketing, and sales to select and prioritize projects.
• Gather and present customer insights, organize project data, and conduct product demonstrations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform Cargill’s offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in dairy and dairy‑alternative product development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Strong ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
