Real Estate Audit Manager

About the role

Deloitte Middle East is seeking a Real Estate Audit Manager to lead audit engagements on real‑estate portfolios across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, compliance and optimisation of property‑related financial and operational controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end audit engagements for commercial, residential and mixed‑use real‑estate assets.
• Evaluate financial statements, lease agreements, property valuations and related documentation for compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assess internal controls over property management, lease administration, capital expenditures and real‑estate transactions.
• Identify risks and control weaknesses, and recommend practical mitigation solutions.
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal teams and property managers to gather information and resolve audit issues.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, findings and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations and tax laws related to real‑estate activities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of real‑estate accounting, compliance and risk management.
• Proven experience in auditing real‑estate portfolios or related financial functions.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and external parties.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
