Recreation Attendant - Wet Deck

About the role

The Recreation Attendant on the Wet Deck at W Hotels Dubai will create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for guests enjoying pool and water‑based activities. You will guide guests through the booking process, answer questions about facilities, and ensure all recreation areas operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage, register and schedule guests for recreation activities on the Wet Deck.
• Promote a relaxed atmosphere while enforcing safety rules and facility regulations.
• Monitor activities, respond to emergencies according to local procedures, and report any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain and clean recreation equipment, supplies and the pool area.
• Process payments for equipment rentals, activity fees, and facility bookings using the POS system.
• Provide courteous service to all guests, including individuals with disabilities, and answer telephone inquiries professionally.
• Document accidents or injuries and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 kg unaided (heavier items with assistance).
• Good visual acuity for reading small print and inspecting equipment.
• Comfort working in wet, sloping or uneven environments and navigating stairs or ramps.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Point of Sale (POS) system operation.
