Recreation Experience Expert - Pool Attendant

About the role

The Recreation Experience Expert – Pool Attendant is the primary point of contact for guests using the hotel’s leisure facilities. Based at Le Méridien Dubai, you will create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for guests across pools, beach areas, fitness centres, and entertainment zones.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information on all recreation facilities and guide guests on usage.
• Encourage participation, register guests, and schedule activities.
• Enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for rentals and activities.
• Assist with private events and group activities within recreation areas.
• Support injured guests until medical services arrive and report incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Uphold company policies, uniform standards, and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Excellent customer‑service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo safety training and obtain necessary certifications.

Required skills

• Cash handling and point‑of‑sale system operation.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reservation systems.
