Regional Manager

About the role

Etihad Airways is looking for a Regional Manager to lead and coordinate airport operations across a defined region. The role focuses on delivering safe, secure, and high‑quality services while meeting financial and customer‑experience objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the highest customer‑service standards across all regional airports to ensure an excellent guest journey.
• Achieve safety, security, quality and operational targets consistently throughout the region.
• Oversee airport performance, including outsourced functions, and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements.
• Manage short‑ and long‑term financial and budget plans for the region.
• Optimize workforce utilisation and resource allocation across all sites.
• Plan and direct station start‑ups, service‑provider changes, terminal modifications and flight‑schedule adjustments.
• Allocate necessary facilities, equipment and support services to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, partner airlines, local authorities and ground‑handling providers.
• Provide leadership and direction to the airport workforce to achieve operational excellence.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in airline or airport operations, preferably managing multiple airports.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that meet safety, quality and financial goals.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
