Official Driver

About the role

The Official Driver will be responsible for transporting company representatives and handling official travel requirements. This position ensures punctual, safe, and reliable vehicle operation while maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle for official travel and business assignments as directed.
• Adhere to all road and traffic regulations, including local driving codes.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security, and overall condition.
• Perform routine checks on oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, and other essential components.
• Arrange and oversee vehicle repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct minor repairs and manage spare‑parts inventory.
• Prepare monthly vehicle monitoring reports covering operations, maintenance, expenses, and mileage.
• Assist the Admin Officer with insurance renewal and registration updates.
• Develop budget plans for vehicle expenses and support the procurement of new vehicles when needed.
• Maintain the car logbook, recording official trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption, and service activities.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work long, irregular hours, shift duties, and public holidays as required.
• Flexible, effective teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
• Good communication skills, including proficiency in English.
