Registered Midwife – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Registered Midwife will join Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, delivering patient‑centred, evidence‑based midwifery care. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support women and newborns throughout antenatal, intrapartum and post‑natal phases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care to antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum women and neonates in line with clinical standards and UAE legislation.
• Identify, prevent and manage patient safety risks according to clinical risk policies.
• Foster a positive experience for patients and families by creating a supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive nursing records that meet legal and company requirements.
• Supervise, mentor and coach junior staff and learners to build competence.
• Utilise stock and equipment efficiently following Mediclinic guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery or related field.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in the applicant’s home country.
• Compliance with UAE Emiratization preferences.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite.
