Registered Nurse – Hospital Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse will deliver safe, patient‑centred care within a hospital setting, ensuring the health, wellbeing and safety of each individual. Working closely with physicians and allied health professionals, the RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs across a variety of clinical areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care, including education and emotional support.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, re‑assessments and collect pertinent health data.
• Develop, implement and monitor individualized medical plans and nursing diagnoses.
• Record vital signs, recognise abnormalities and escalate as required.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products and monitor for reactions.
• Deliver wound‑care management and assist in invasive or non‑invasive procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, and facilitate safe admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain and update clinical skills, adhering to regulatory standards and best practice.

Required profile

• Valid licence to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant health authority.
• Active professional re‑licensure management.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Willingness to work across multiple departments as needed.
