Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department (OPD)

About the role

The Registered Nurse will deliver comprehensive nursing care within the Outpatient Department (OPD) in Sharjah, ensuring patient safety, thorough assessment, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, educating patients and families about health conditions.
• Assess patient needs, develop and monitor medical plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and identify abnormalities for escalation.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for reactions.
• Deliver wound care, assist in medical procedures, and prepare patients for examinations and surgeries.
• Maintain clinical competencies, including Basic Life Support, ECG, and IV cannulation, and document care accurately.

Required profile

• Hold a valid registered nurse license issued by the UAE health authority.
• Maintain a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider certification.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work across departments and be on call when required.
