Registered Nurse – UAEN

About the role

The Royal Women Hospital Abu Dhabi is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, educating patients and families, and supporting clinical teams across various hospital settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Educate patients and the public on health conditions and promote healthy behaviours.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and identify abnormalities for escalation.
• Develop and review patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Deliver wound‑care management and assist with invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date clinical and technical nursing skills.

Required profile

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Relevant nursing qualifications and sufficient clinical experience.
• Ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team.
• Strong communication skills to provide emotional support and education to patients and families.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Wound care management
• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
