Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Medical Devices (UAE)

About the role
We are a leading distributor of medical equipment and surgical consumables in the UAE, seeking a qualified Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist to join our team immediately. You will ensure that all medical devices comply with UAE Ministry of Health regulations and support smooth import and distribution processes.
Key responsibilities
- Classify and register medical devices with the UAE Ministry of Health.
- Apply for import permits and manage shipment clearance at ports.
- Coordinate with distributors and manufacturers to obtain required documentation.
- Handle field actions, product recalls, and ensure timely corrective measures.
- Maintain compliance with UAE MOH regulations for importing and distributing medical devices.
- Obtain quality certificates (ISO, GMP, FSC, CEC) from manufacturers as needed.
- Manage registration and renewal of all company MOH licenses.
- Advise internal teams on regulatory requirements for each medical device.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections.
- Ensure data reports and quality standards are met within set timeframes.
Required profile
- B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm‑D degree.
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience in the UAE regulatory environment.
- Active UAE Ministry of Health Pharmacist license (mandatory).
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of UAE MOH laws and medical device regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership, decision‑making and highly organized work style.
