Regulatory and Licensing Lead for Nuclear Project

About the role

Egis Group is seeking an experienced Regulatory and Licensing Lead to join its nuclear project team in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the primary liaison for all regulatory and licensing matters, ensuring compliance with UAE nuclear regulations and international IAEA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regulatory and licensing strategies aligned with UAE and IAEA requirements.
• Manage the full licensing process, including application preparation, documentation, and communication with the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR).
• Analyze complex regulatory frameworks and ensure organizational compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify requirements and implement controls.
• Prepare detailed regulatory reports, compliance documentation, and licensing submissions.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor changes in nuclear regulations and provide timely updates to leadership.
• Lead regulatory audits and inspections, serving as the main liaison with FANR.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in nuclear regulatory affairs, licensing, or compliance management.
• Demonstrated expertise in nuclear industry regulations and IAEA safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC nuclear regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage complex regulatory submissions and licensing applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and technical writing skills.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory authorities and managing stakeholder relationships.
