Relationship Manager – Corporate & SME Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager (RM) – Corporate & SME will drive acquisition, development and management of a high‑quality portfolio of corporate and SME clients for Al Maryah Community Bank. The role focuses on delivering tailored banking solutions, expanding loan and deposit volumes, and increasing fee‑based income while ensuring compliance and credit quality.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new‑to‑bank corporate and SME clients, with a strong emphasis on lending products (loans & advances).
• Structure, negotiate and document credit facilities such as working capital, term loans and trade finance lines based on detailed financial analysis.
• Ensure full compliance with KYC/AML regulations and internal credit policies.
• Cross‑sell payroll, digital banking and other banking solutions to maximise wallet share.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signals and manage exposures to maintain asset quality.
• Collaborate with Credit, Risk and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of UAE market experience in corporate/SME banking or a similar credit‑focused role.
• Strong knowledge of credit appraisal, financial statement and ratio analysis.
• Familiarity with UAE banking regulations, credit policies and compliance standards.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Credit Review Packages (CRP) and working with external credit agencies.
• Ability to interpret legal and technical reports related to collateral and facilities.
