Requirements & Capabilities Director

About the role

Raytheon is seeking a Requirements & Capabilities Director for its wholly‑owned subsidiary in Abu Dhabi. The role will shape the company’s country strategy, strengthen customer relationships and drive growth across key defense and aerospace missions in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive country strategy based on customer needs, buying power and market dynamics.
• Lead a team of Customer Account Managers to nurture existing partnerships and create new pipeline opportunities.
• Identify priority markets, initiate international business‑development projects and support Raytheon’s global growth objectives.
• Represent the enterprise on industry and government committees, councils and studies.
• Provide regular market insights, opportunity assessments and status updates to RTX stakeholders.
• Coordinate licences, TAAs, NDAs and consultant agreements to ensure compliant pursuit execution.
• Drive integrated pipeline reviews and align cross‑functional teams for maximised enterprise growth.
• Ensure a unified messaging and engagement strategy across all in‑country customer accounts.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in aerospace, defence or related high‑technology sectors.
• Deep understanding of customer procurement processes and regional market dynamics.
• Track record of leading cross‑functional teams and delivering business‑development results.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior government and industry officials.
• Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution capability.
