Reservations Agent – Guest Services

About the role

The Reservations Agent will act as the primary point of contact for guests booking rooms at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan. You will ensure reservations are processed accurately and delivered with the high service standards expected by Rotana.

Key responsibilities

• Process and confirm guest room reservations received via phone, letter or fax.
• Enter all reservation details into the computer system, capturing pertinent information.
• Handle inquiries, complaints and special requests related to reservations.
• Stay updated on hotel promotions and apply correct rate structures.
• Maintain accurate room status and ensure all incoming calls and emails are answered according to Rotana standards.
• Organise visa requests for guests in line with hotel policy and identify up‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain filing systems and prepare reports for the Reservations Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality.
• Previous experience in hotel reservations.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Computer literacy with ability to use reservation software.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and courteous attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reservation management systems.
