Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai ensures a smooth and personalized booking experience for guests, travel partners, and internal teams. This role is central to maximizing room revenue while upholding Hyatt’s brand standards and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservation inquiries, bookings, amendments, and cancellations via phone, email, and online channels.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences, and history in the Property Management System.
• Upsell and cross‑sell hotel services, packages, and promotions to optimize revenue.
• Coordinate special requests with relevant departments to enhance the guest experience before arrival.
• Monitor room availability, update inventory, and ensure accurate entry of reservations.
• Respond courteously to guest and internal inquiries, resolving complaints promptly.
• Provide up‑to‑date information on hotel facilities, local attractions, and tourism offerings.
• Adhere to all hotel policies, health and safety standards, and financial procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of hotel facilities, room categories, services, packages, promotions and local attractions.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively with guests, colleagues, and other hotel departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Property Management System (PMS) for handling reservations and guest data.
