Restaurant General Manager (Italian Speaker)

About the role

The Restaurant General Manager will lead a luxury Italian restaurant in Dubai, ensuring an authentic, high‑end dining experience. Reporting to Food & Beverage leadership, the role combines operational oversight, guest experience excellence, and brand stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily operational excellence, guaranteeing top‑tier food quality, service, and ambiance.
• Deliver personalized guest experiences and continuously improve satisfaction using quality‑assurance tools and surveys.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sommelier on menu design and concept training.
• Recruit, train, and lead staff, conduct annual performance reviews, and support talent development initiatives.
• Develop and execute financial strategies to maximise revenue, control costs, and prepare regular financial reports.
• Source premium suppliers to uphold authentic Italian offerings and drive product quality.
• Create and manage marketing and promotional campaigns, leveraging digital platforms to attract new customers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and luxury‑dining regulations and produce operational reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a food‑and‑beverage management role, preferably within a luxury or upscale environment.
• Fluency in Italian and strong command of English.
• Proven leadership abilities with a focus on staff development and guest satisfaction.
