Restaurant General Manager – New Sports Dining Venue

About the role

JA Resorts & Hotels is launching a contemporary sports restaurant at JA The Resort, Jebel Ali. We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead the pre‑opening, launch and ongoing operations, delivering unforgettable guest experiences from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the successful pre‑opening, launch and day‑to‑day operation of the venue.
• Design and deliver guest experiences that meet Forbes standards.
• Build, coach and inspire a multicultural high‑performing team.
• Drive revenue, profitability and operational excellence through effective P&L management.
• Develop and execute innovative promotions, events and experiential concepts.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, inventory and overall business performance.
• Collaborate with culinary and resort leadership to continuously elevate the concept.
• Foster a culture where staff feel valued, empowered and motivated.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager in luxury hospitality.
• Strong background in sports‑themed venues, sports bars or high‑energy casual dining concepts.
• Exceptional leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Commercial expertise with solid P&L and revenue‑growth track record.
• Demonstrated success in opening new restaurants and building high‑performing teams.
• Passion for creating memorable guest experiences and a positive workplace culture.
