Restaurant Hostess – Front of House

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Restaurant Hostess to welcome guests and ensure a smooth dining experience at our upscale venue in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all guests warmly and professionally.
• Manage reservations, walk‑ins, waiting lists and table allocations efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus according to service standards.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate guest preferences, VIPs and special occasions to the team.
• Answer guest enquiries about menus, promotions and facilities.
• Monitor guest flow, table availability and waiting times to optimise the dining experience.
• Coordinate closely with the restaurant service team and management.
• Keep the hostess area and personal presentation to the highest standards of cleanliness and grooming.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a hostess or similar guest‑facing role, preferably in a 5‑star hotel or luxury restaurant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable personality.
• Strong customer service orientation and passion for hospitality.
• Organisational ability to manage reservations and multiple guest requests.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Calm, positive and professional demeanor in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
