Hotel Maintenance Electrician

About the role

The Hotel Maintenance Electrician will respond to guest repair requests and ensure the smooth operation of all electrical and related systems within the property. This full‑time position supports the engineering team in delivering high‑quality service to guests and maintaining the hotel's facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical‑room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines; carry necessary tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Execute basic repairs on electrical components, plumbing fixtures, HVAC filters, lighting, and guestroom items.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Perform minor painting, drywall, wood‑trim repairs, and landscaping upkeep.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s licence.

• Plumbing and drainage troubleshooting.
