Restaurant Hostess – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and organized Hostess to join our restaurant team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth seating flow while upholding Accor’s standards of responsible hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of the dining room layout, table numbers, capacity, and dress code.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings using proper salutations and etiquette.
• Take, record, and confirm restaurant reservations and cancellations according to departmental standards.
• Communicate reservation changes to management throughout the shift.
• Prepare and monitor table setups, ensuring menus and check folders are clean and sufficient.
• Greet guests at the restaurant entrance, seat them according to the floor plan, and present the open menu.
• Anticipate busy periods, organize waiting lines, and respond promptly to guest needs.
• Maintain positive guest relations, handle complaints following pacification procedures, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and participate in clearing and resetting tables according to department procedures.
• Keep the hostess stand and surrounding area clean and organized.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with hotel services and activities to answer guest inquiries accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Capability to handle guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
