Restaurant Hostess – Luxury Resort

About the role

One&Only The Palm is seeking a personable Restaurant Hostess to create a warm welcome for guests and ensure a smooth dining experience. You will be the first point of contact, managing reservations, seating, and guest interactions in a high‑end resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations, walk‑ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and communicate special requests to service and kitchen teams.
• Coordinate seating to optimise table turnover and service flow.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date reservations system and keep the hostess stand and entrance area tidy.
• Answer telephone inquiries about reservations, menu details and restaurant policies.
• Support the service team during peak periods and handle guest complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality setting.
