Restaurant Manager - Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Restaurant Manager is a key leadership hire for a client in Dubai, focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience and building a strong sense of community among residents and guests. The role is primarily on the restaurant floor, engaging directly with guests and leading the team, with operational excellence, administration, scheduling and financial management also required.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main ambassador and host of the restaurant, personally welcoming guests and recognizing returning customers
• Build long-term relationships with residents and regular guests and anticipate their needs
• Ensure consistent service quality, cleanliness, ambience, music, lighting and overall atmosphere
• Resolve guest concerns immediately and continuously improve the guest experience
• Coach and mentor team members, give ongoing feedback and training, and promote a hospitality-first culture
• Manage daily operations, scheduling, staffing levels and labor productivity
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and company standards and support revenue growth through guest retention
• Monitor operational and financial performance while prioritizing guest satisfaction

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience
• Luxury hospitality experience preferred: luxury hotel, fine dining, private club or upscale lifestyle hospitality
• Proven success in guest-facing leadership roles and experience managing teams in a high-service environment
• Natural ability to build connections, remember guest names and preferences, and lead from the floor
