Restaurant Reception Manager

About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking an experienced Reception Manager to lead the reception team at one of its luxury restaurant venues in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering a seamless arrival and departure experience for guests in a fast‑paced, high‑volume dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and develop the reception team, ensuring a warm, professional and personalised welcome for every guest.
• Oversee daily reservations, table allocations and guest flow, managing VIP guests and special requests with discretion.
• Coordinate closely with restaurant management and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain accurate guest records and reservation details.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns efficiently.
• Ensure the reception area is consistently presented to the highest standard.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of reception team members.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the venue, menu, events and the wider group portfolio.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Reception Manager or in a similar role within a luxury restaurant or high‑end hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and guest‑relations abilities.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking capabilities.
• Professional appearance and polished presentation.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a high‑volume setting.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Prior experience working in Dubai or the UAE is preferred.
