Retail Sales Assistant / Merchandiser / Fish Monger / Cashier

About the role

Abela Market is expanding its retail footprint in Dubai and is looking for energetic individuals to join the store team. The role combines responsibilities of a fresh‑produce sales assistant, merchandiser, fish monger and cashier, ensuring customers receive friendly service and the shop floor remains well presented.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide attentive service across all departments.
• Maintain and refresh product displays, restock shelves and follow visual merchandising guidelines.
• Process payments, issue receipts and handle cash accurately at the checkout.
• Perform department‑specific tasks such as handling fresh produce and fish, ensuring quality and proper storage.
• Keep stock areas clean, organized and ensure correct product placement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a supermarket or retail environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced team setting.
• Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn multiple store functions.
