Risk & Regulatory Transformation Manager

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Manager to lead Risk & Regulatory transformation projects for banking and financial services clients in the UAE. You will act as the client delivery lead, guiding end‑to‑end engagements that enhance risk governance, compliance and operational resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of risk and regulatory transformation engagements, from requirements gathering to implementation and adoption.
• Advise clients on non‑financial risk areas such as compliance, conduct risk, operational risk, governance and enterprise risk management.
• Design and improve risk governance frameworks, operating models, policies, controls and reporting capabilities.
• Provide advisory support on regulatory expectations from CBUAE, SAMA, DFSA, ADGM and other regional regulators.
• Stay current on regulatory developments, contribute to thought‑leadership, business development and proposal writing.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of non‑financial risk management within banking and financial services.
• Experience in one or more areas such as regulatory licensing, remediation, compliance transformation, conduct risk, operational risk, ERM, governance, operational resilience, digital asset risk, outsourcing and third‑party risk.
• Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks including CBUAE, SAMA, Basel, CMA and SCA.
• Proven ability to develop and enhance risk, compliance, governance and reporting frameworks.
