Robotic Engineer, Automated Solutions (12-month FTC)

About the role

VentureOne is looking for a Robotics Engineer to design, program and deploy advanced robotic systems for fully autonomous (lights‑out) assembly and testing lines in aerospace and defence manufacturing. The role combines robotics, IIoT and Digital Twin technologies to create high‑precision, zero‑defect production environments with maximum uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi‑robot cells and flexible automation architectures for lights‑out assembly and testing.
• Develop and optimise robot/cobot programmes, including trajectory planning, cycle‑time reduction, collision avoidance and offline programming.
• Integrate robotic systems with precision tightening, automated dispensing, force‑controlled pressing, laser/spot/arc welding and palletising operations.
• Architect and deploy autonomous intralogistics fleets (AMRs, AGVs, RGVs) and manage traffic, task scheduling and path optimisation.
• Connect fleets with production lines, robotic cells, ASRS and warehouse management systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in robotics engineering and automation.
• Proven experience delivering lights‑out manufacturing solutions in aerospace or defence.
