SAC Planning Tech Lead – Retail Planning

About the role

Capgemini is seeking a SAC Planning Tech Lead to drive SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning solutions for the retail sector. You will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering end‑to‑end planning models that help retail clients optimise merchandise, assortment and inventory planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full technical delivery of SAC Planning solutions from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate retail planning needs into SAC models, data actions, allocations and advanced calculations.
• Design and develop planning models, workflows and scripts tailored to merchandise, assortment and inventory optimisation.
• Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW and other data sources, ensuring reliable data flows.
• Establish coding standards, reusable assets and best‑practice guidelines for SAC implementations.
• Provide technical mentorship, troubleshoot complex issues and ensure project timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Document architectures, configurations and processes for ongoing support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience implementing SAC Planning solutions.
• Proven experience with retail planning processes and delivering planning solutions in a retail environment.
