Sales Associate – Boutique

About the role

The Sales Associate will deliver an engaging and knowledgeable service to boutique customers in Abu Dhabi, helping to generate new sales and support Bateel International's commercial performance. This full‑time position reports to the Boutique Manager and involves both customer‑facing duties and back‑of‑house responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual and overall sales targets.
• Demonstrate thorough product knowledge, promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain boutique cleanliness, hygiene standards and proper product handling.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed and stored correctly.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, completing daily checklists.
• Provide courteous customer experiences using prescribed selling techniques.
• Operate the cash register accurately and handle payments.
• Prepare gift orders in coordination with the team.
• Record product usage, control shrinkage and report damages.
• Participate in monthly inventory and monitor stock levels.
• Report customer feedback and complaints to the Boutique Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Strong sales and analytical skills to tailor approaches to different customers.
• Excellent customer‑handling abilities and product knowledge.
• Self‑disciplined, responsible, presentable and enthusiastic.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and overtime during peak periods.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
