Sales Director Financial Services Brokerage

About the role

Wafra Capital Partners, a CMA‑licensed Category 1 financial services firm in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead its brokerage sales function. You will be responsible for driving institutional and high‑net‑worth client acquisition across FX and related brokerage products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and expand the sales team focused on brokerage products.
• Design and execute acquisition strategies for institutional and HNW client segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and counterparties.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with CMA regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk and operations teams on onboarding and product rollout.
• Report sales performance, market opportunities and pipeline status to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FX or financial brokerage sales.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales targets.
• Existing active book of FX and HNW clients, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Ability to generate new business, maintain a strong pipeline and achieve monthly targets.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for FX brokerage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Previous experience with a CMA‑licensed Category 1 brokerage is a strong advantage.
