Sales Engineer – Cosmetics (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, commercially driven Sales Engineer – Cosmetics to grow our specialty chemicals and raw materials business for cosmetics and personal‑care manufacturers in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential cosmetics and personal‑care manufacturers, brands, distributors and retailers across the UAE market.
• Generate new business opportunities through lead generation, market mapping, networking and customer outreach.
• Engage with prospects to understand product requirements, present suitable solutions and schedule 2–3 client meetings per week.
• Support product marketing initiatives, maintain a database of customers and market information, and monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Strong interest in cosmetics, beauty or FMCG and knowledge of the UAE market.
• Proactive, self‑motivated with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience in B2B sales or business development of specialty chemicals, cosmetic ingredients or raw materials is highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients such as preservatives, solubilizers, emulsifiers, surfactants, PEGs, polysorbates and ethoxylates.
• Research and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
