Sales Manager – Automotive Showroom

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the showroom team to achieve and exceed unit sales and customer satisfaction index (CSI) targets for the Sharjah branch of Al Futtaim Automotive. The role combines operational oversight, team leadership, and compliance with company standards to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted unit sales, gross margins, and CSI objectives for the branch.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s sales, prospecting, and finance & insurance (F&I) processes, including trade‑ins and prospect logging.
• Motivate, guide and control showroom staff to maximise performance and meet engagement scores.
• Identify training needs, coordinate development programmes and maintain high employee engagement.
• Manage cash handling, receivables, credit control policy and minimise bad debts.
• Oversee new vehicle stock security, premises upkeep and asset maintenance to protect the brand image.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline, preferably with an MBA.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in direct selling of consumer durables, primarily automotive, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team, understand modern vehicle features and coach sales techniques.
