Sales Manager

About the role

StraitsX, a leading digital‑assets platform in Southeast Asia, is expanding its commercial hub in Dubai to serve the EMEA market. The Sales Manager will lead the acquisition of high‑value institutional merchants, crypto exchanges, OTC desks, card issuers and traditional financial institutions across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and close high‑value institutional clients, driving adoption of StraitsX’s full infrastructure suite.
• Pitch and secure partnerships for Dedicated Virtual Accounts, stablecoin‑backed card issuing and cross‑border settlement rails (XSGD/XUSD).
• Sell fiat‑to‑stablecoin conversion rails, addressing complex treasury, settlement and liquidity requirements.
• Manage long‑cycle enterprise sales from outreach to contract execution, coordinating with client treasury, product and compliance teams.
• Collaborate with StraitsX Legal, Compliance and leadership to ensure sales motions comply with VARA Category 1 FRVA rules and DIFC/DFSA regulations.
• Define and execute the regional go‑to‑market strategy, validate product‑market fit and build early client success stories.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of business development experience in stablecoin issuance, payments infrastructure or institutional digital assets within the GCC.
• Proven network of relationships with institutional crypto clients, digital‑asset platforms, payment aggregators and digital‑first businesses in Dubai and the GCC.
• Background in companies such as Anchorage Digital, Ripple, Tether, Circle, Nium, Thunes, Binance, Bybit, OKX or similar.

Required skills

• Deep familiarity with VARA (Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority) and related regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of cross‑border settlement rails and stablecoin‑backed card issuing infrastructure.
