Sales Manager – Middle East

About the role

Damen, a global leader in the maritime industry, is expanding its presence in the Middle East. We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead sales growth across the region, build strong customer relationships and act as the primary contact for our diverse portfolio of vessels and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business‑development activities in assigned Middle East territories.
• Build long‑term relationships with customers, agents, government entities, port operators, contractors and marine companies.
• Identify market opportunities, convert leads into contracts and negotiate quotations, pricing, delivery terms and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, legal, finance, services and project management to deliver solutions.
• Monitor market trends, provide strategic insights to management and represent Damen at industry events, trade fairs and conferences.
• Support customers throughout the sales lifecycle, including after‑sales service and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales, business‑development or commercial experience in the Middle East, preferably within maritime, offshore, shipbuilding or capital‑goods sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
