SAP FICA Functional Consultant

About the role

Teamware Solutions is seeking a senior SAP FICA Functional Consultant to lead the design, configuration and integration of the FICA module within a S/4 HANA environment. The role involves shaping end‑to‑end business processes for utilities and ensuring seamless interaction with finance, billing and third‑party systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and customize SAP FICA to meet complex business requirements.
• Integrate FICA with SAP FI, SD, Billing, Device Management and external APIs/web‑services.
• Develop and implement end‑to‑end processes such as payments, dunning, credit management, cash security deposits and collection management.
• Provide production support for high‑severity issues and coordinate new solution roll‑outs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and customizations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and process alignment.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP FICA with at least two full life‑cycle implementations in IS‑Utilities.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4 HANA and strong understanding of FI (GL, AR, AP) integration.
• Proven ability to develop business processes, solve complex technical problems and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude and demonstrated leadership in team settings.
