School Development Program Manager

About the role

The School Development Program Manager will lead the design and implementation of strategies that enhance the performance of private schools across Abu Dhabi. This role involves research, program development, and close collaboration with licensing and business development teams to support schools in delivering high-quality education to the community.

Key responsibilities

• Manage research activities to identify critical issues and challenges faced by private schools in the Emirate.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of school improvement strategies.
• Design and manage key development programs, such as the Villa School Replacement Plan.
• Coordinate with the Licensing & Accreditation Division to support under-performing schools and assist them in obtaining operational licenses.
• Conduct regular focus groups with internal and external stakeholders at private schools and document findings for further research.
• Develop school improvement incentive programs—financial or non-financial—to raise the profile and performance of private schools, aligning eligibility criteria with the P-12 Policy Sector’s vision.
• Work with the Promotion & Business Development Division to communicate incentive programs and secure stakeholder buy-in.
