Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – AI & Machine Learning

About the role

The Dubai Business School at the University of Dubai is seeking qualified candidates for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor positions in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The appointment is expected to start in Spring or Fall 2026 and will involve teaching, research, and engagement with industry partners within Dubai’s dynamic business ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an active and productive research agenda in AI/ML.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in AI as assigned each academic year.
• Supervise and mentor students and support student recruitment activities.
• Participate in school and university service activities.
• Initiate and develop projects aligned with the University of Dubai’s strategic priorities.
• Undertake other academic and professional duties consistent with the role.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) from an accredited institution at the time of appointment.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality research publications and teaching excellence in AI or a closely related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Practical or industry experience relevant to AI/ML is an advantage.
• Ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods and digital learning tools.
• Experience securing external research funding and building industry partnerships.
