Seasonal Commis I – Italian Cuisine

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking a seasonal Commis I for Italian Cuisine at One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai. One&Only Royal Mirage is a luxury resort in New Dubai offering traditional splendour, private sands and lush gardens. The role supports the kitchen team to maintain the highest quality of production and presentation, and ensures all mise‑en‑place is prepared correctly before service. The successful candidate will contribute to creating memorable guest experiences through creativity, precision and warmth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards of kitchen output and plate presentation.
• Prepare and organise all mise‑en‑place prior to service.
• Assist the Chef De Partie and follow their direction during service.
• Ensure kitchen stations are clean and organized throughout service.
• Support the preparation of Italian dishes according to established recipes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Commis Chef in an upscale luxury hotel or five‑star property.
• Strong attention to detail, flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to shift schedules.
