Secondary Inclusion Teaching Assistant – English & Science

About the role

Safa Community School is looking for a dedicated Inclusion Teaching Assistant to support secondary students in English and Science. You will work across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping learners of all abilities access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide targeted in‑class and small‑group support in English, Science and Mathematics.
• Assist students with a range of additional learning needs.
• Collaborate with subject teachers and the Inclusion team to adapt and scaffold learning materials.
• Support the implementation of individualized learning plans and assessment accommodations.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and committed to inclusive education.
• Minimum 24 months experience supporting secondary students with additional needs.
• Ability to work across multiple key stages and subjects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
