Secondary Science Teacher

About the role

Al Rabeeh Academy is looking for an experienced and passionate Secondary Science Teacher to join its British‑curriculum programme from August 2026. The role covers Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering GCSE and A‑Level Science (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics) in an inclusive, inquiry‑based classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet British curriculum standards for KS3‑5.
• Teach GCSE and A‑Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics, fostering analytical and investigative skills.
• Design and implement summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress.
• Create a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages all learners to reach their potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to pastoral care and uphold the Academy’s core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.

Required profile

• Qualified secondary science teacher with experience in the British curriculum.
• Strong ability to inspire and engage students through inquiry‑based learning.
• Commitment to inclusive education and high standards of classroom management.
• Willingness to participate in professional development and school initiatives.
