Primary Teacher – Start Aug 2026

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi, starting in August 2026. The role involves delivering the KS1 England National Curriculum to a diverse classroom and supporting the school’s mission of outstanding education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS1 lessons that meet the curriculum outcomes and cater for the whole ability range.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and adjusting instruction as needed.
• Support SEN (POD), EAL and gifted & talented students through differentiated teaching.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists and educational psychologists, and facilitate hybrid or distance‑learning sessions when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related degree with a mandatory post‑teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• Minimum of one year experience teaching the England National Curriculum in a primary setting.
• Experience working with EAL learners and the ability to engage with a multicultural community.
• Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, professionalism and continuous professional development.
