Security and Intelligence Director Region IMEEA

About the role

The Regional Chief Security Officer (RCSO) leads security and strategic intelligence for the IMEEA region, protecting people, assets, information and supply chains. The role provides senior management with timely geopolitical and security analysis and ensures robust crisis response.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor geopolitical, military, political and security developments and produce executive assessments, early‑warning reports and risk analyses.
• Oversee protection of employees, seafarers, contractors and business travellers, including travel‑risk management, security briefings and emergency communication plans.
• Implement Group security policies, conduct security assessments for offices, ports, terminals and supply chains, and maintain regional risk registers.
• Lead regional security response during major incidents, coordinate crisis management, and ensure post‑incident reviews and corrective actions.
• Protect sites, cargo and logistics operations, lead investigations of criminal activity or insider threats, and support counter‑intelligence efforts.
• Develop senior‑level relationships with authorities, represent the Group before security partners, and coordinate with Legal, Compliance, HR and IT/Cybersecurity.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading security and intelligence functions at a regional or multinational level.
• Proven ability to advise senior management on sensitive security and geopolitical matters.
• Strong track record in crisis management, business continuity and emergency response.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with authorities, partners and internal functions.
