Security CCTV Operator

About the role

Fairmont Heritage Place in Dubai is looking for a reliable Security CCTV Operator to monitor live video feeds, detect unusual activities and support incident resolution. You will work in a 24/7 control room, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all CCTV and related security systems in compliance with procedures, legislation and ethical standards.
• Liaise with police, service providers and internal departments to ensure appropriate system use.
• Maintain evidential records and witness statements that meet admissibility standards.
• Provide courteous radio and telephone service, handling enquiries efficiently.
• Report equipment failures promptly to the security supervisor.
• Ensure data security in line with SIRA regulations and protect control‑room equipment.
• Assist the Assistant Manager, Security with information provision and system monitoring.
• Conduct regular checks on field officers and follow up on system performance.
• Participate in investigations, prepare reports and track movements of staff under investigation.
• Maintain peace and order, dealing with trespassers or difficult individuals.
• Work rotating shifts to provide continuous 24/7 coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CCTV operator in a 5‑star hotel.
• High‑school education or equivalent.
• Valid SIRA CCTV Operator License.
• Awareness of health‑and‑safety responsibilities and training.

Required skills

• CCTV system operation.
• Knowledge of SIRA security regulations.
