Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees at the Sheraton hotel in Sharjah. This full‑time, on‑site position involves patrolling all areas, monitoring security systems, and responding promptly to emergencies and incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the entire property, assist guests with room access, and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical‑hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and escort unwelcome persons while maintaining order.
• Complete incident, loss‑prevention shift, and daily activity reports, maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
